Our Up Spiral cutter for Wood is designed to rapidly remove wood chip upwards with less burring. It has high tool rigidity, long tool life and high quality finish. It is suitable for cutting natural wood, wood composites, solid surfaces and plastics.

A spiral fluted up cutter has a number of cutting edges. For every rotation of the bit, the number of edges will be cutting your material. These bits are like a traditional drill bit in which the spirals direct chips up. The benefit of a spiral fluted up cut is that you can drive your bit faster than a single flute. A 2 flute bit means you can drive your feed rate 2x faster than a single flute. Our cutters are primed for high efficiency cutting on wood, but do leave a slight burr on the top of your material, with the clean finish on the underside.
