Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. The Tracking Number can take up to 24 hours before it shows in the Express Post system.
Due to delivery delays across Australia, please allow 4-5 Business days
We can't ship to PO Box addresses unless Express shipping is selected at checkout.

Local delivery
Free local delivery is available for orders over $70 within 5km of our office. Unfortunately, we don't offer local delivery for orders under $70.
Deliveries are made from 4pm - 8pm on weekdays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.
URGENT Priority Delivery Service (Premium Customers)
For local regular Premium Customers we offer a 7 day-a-week PRIORITY SAME DAY DELIVERY SERVICE.
The team will deliver your order as soon as the schedule frees up that day.
If we can't make the delivery run during the day, we deliver between 4pm - 8pm that day (7 days a week). Yes that's right! Our Legendary Customer Service Plan means we have a staff member on call 7 days a week for our Premium Customers.
We will do our utmost to have your order ready for business the next day.
URGENT Priority Delivery Service is free and available for orders over $150 within 5km of our office.
This service is limited to our Premium Customers.
If you supply us a mobile number at checkout, we will confirm to you via text message confirmation of delivery.
International Shipping
We offer $35 flat rate Standard International shipping to almost any address in the world on all orders over $100AUD.
Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. International shipping will be quoted separately. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Router Bits Direct is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and these are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@routerbitsdirect.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Refund Policy
We have a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund.
Order with 1-3 Items
To be eligible for a refund, for orders under 3 items, you are NOT required to return your item - it helps us if you do.
Orders with 4+ Items
Let us know via email to sales@routerbitsdirect.com.au why it wasn't suitable, and we credit your account with us or refund your bank account.
To assist us check the product for faults, we can send you a return paid packet shipping bag.

Damaged Item
We have NEVER had a faulty product. If this should occur, contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, so that we can check the issue and make it right ASAP.
You don't have to return the item to claim a refund or replacement item - it helps us with product quality if you do.
Let us know via email to sales@routerbitsdirect.com.au and we will fix it ASAP.
Getting the item back is helpful so we can check the product for faults.
We can send you a return paid packet shipping bag if you require.
Lost Item
If your order gets lost in transit, let us know and we will send out a replacement at no extra cost.
What happens if the lost order turns up?
For large orders, (5+), depending on the items, we appreciate you sending them back. We will send a return paid packet shipping bag.
For smaller orders - keep the order at no extra cost to you.Let us know so that we can investigate further with the shipping company.
Incorrect Item
What do I do if my order arrives with an incorrect item?
Let us know via email to sales@routerbitsdirect.com.au and we will resend the correct item ASAP at NO cost to you.
You do not need to return the incorrect item and please accept our apologies.
