Our Compression Cutter has high tool rigidity, long tool life and high quality all-round finish. While an Up Cut gives a great bottom finish, and a Down Cut a great top finish, a Compression Cutter gives a great finish on both sides of the material.

This compression cutter starts with an Up Cut component usually the length of the diameter (i.e 9.5mm), so to maximise the cutter's finish quality, first cut below that length (i.e 9.5mm or more). Compression cutters are best run a little faster than other cutting bits in order to get the best finish on both sides of the material.

NOTE: The compression chipbreaker cutter and the compression cutter have the same CNC Operating Spindle Speed settings.
